iMatrix FC-223 · Hardwired I/O Tracker

Two inputs. Two outputs. One small sealed box.

For fleets that need the tracker to do more than report a position. The FC-223 reads two inputs — a door, a PTO, a panic button — and drives two switched outputs, in a sealed IP67 case barely larger than a matchbox.

iMatrix FC-223 compact hardwired GPS tracker with its wire harness

When the question is not only where, but what just happened.

A location dot does not tell you the liftgate opened, the PTO ran for two hours, or the driver pressed the panic button. The FC-223 wires into those signals and reports them as events — and its two outputs let the dashboard switch something on the vehicle in return.

🔌

Two Inputs

One configurable as wired ignition, the other free for a door switch, PTO signal, or panic button.

🎚

Two Switched Outputs

Short-circuit-protected outputs for a relay, siren, or indicator, controlled from iMatrix Cloud on the Command plan.

📦

Compact & Sealed

53 × 61 × 18 mm, 79 g, IP67 — dust-tight and rated for 30 minutes at one metre of immersion.

🔑

Three Ways to Sense Ignition

By wire, by supply voltage, or by motion — so the install works even where there is no clean switched feed.

🛰

Four Constellations

GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, to ±2 m CEP(50).

🚨

Backup Battery

A 220 mAh cell keeps the tracker reporting when main power is disconnected, and raises a power-cut alert.

🗺

Geofences on the Device

Circular and polygon geofences evaluated on the tracker itself.

📊

Driving-Pattern Events

Harsh braking and acceleration from the built-in 3-axis accelerometer, with fine tracking of up to 10 positions per report.

What it does not do. The FC-223 has no CAN, J1939, or OBD-II connection — it reports location, ignition, motion, and its wired inputs. For engine data and fault codes use the FC-201; for J1939 on heavy equipment, the FC-202.

What is in the box, and what you may want with it.

The FC-223 ships with its 6-pin wire harness. Relays, switches, and buttons wired to its inputs and outputs are standard 12/24 V automotive parts — ask us to quote them with the order.

FC-223 questions.

What can I connect to the FC-223?

Two inputs, one of which can be wired ignition, for signals such as a door switch, PTO or panic button, and two short-circuit-protected outputs for a relay, siren or indicator.

Which plan do I need to control the outputs?

The Command plan at $18.99 per month adds remote control of the two switched outputs from iMatrix Cloud. The Track plan at $13.99 per month covers location, trips and alerts.

Does the FC-223 read engine data?

No. It has no CAN, J1939 or OBD-II connection. For engine data and fault codes use the FC-201; for J1939 on heavy equipment, the FC-202.

How much does the FC-223 cost?

$59.00 for the hardware, plus a plan from $13.99 per month. There is no contract.

Where can the FC-223 be used?

The FC-223 is a North America release. Every plan includes the iMatrix EdgeUplink eSIM with Zone 2 (North America) connectivity.

Is there a contract?

No. You own the hardware outright and plans run month to month. Cancel any time.
