iMatrix FC-113 · Compact Long-Life Asset Tracker

Built for the asset that sits for months.

Roll-off containers, dumpsters, and trailers that leave the yard and are not seen again until the job is done. The FC-113 puts a replaceable 19 Ah primary lithium pack in a compact IP67 case — more than twice the battery of the FC-111 in the same footprint.

iMatrix FC-113 compact battery-powered GPS asset tracker in a sealed black case on its snap-on mount (FC-111 shown)

A tracker small enough to forget, on a battery you never charge.

The FC-113 is built for the assets nobody wants to visit: it has no charging port to keep dry and no panel to keep clean. A 19 Ah primary lithium pack does the work, and when it is finally spent you swap the pack, not the tracker.

🔋

Nothing to Charge

A 19 Ah primary lithium pack with deep-sleep draw under 15 µA. Battery life depends on how often the asset reports — tell us the interval and we will size it with you.

🔁

Field-Replaceable Pack

The battery is a replaceable pack on a quick connector. When it runs down, swap the pack and the same tracker goes back to work.

📏

Palm-Sized

92.5 × 39.5 × 43.5 mm and 170 g (6.00 oz). It fits where a full-size asset tracker will not — inside a frame rail, under a lid, behind a panel.

🛰

Finds the Asset

GPS and GLONASS with WAAS, EGNOS and MSAS correction, better than 2.5 m CEP, and a hot start under one second.

🧲

Snap-On Mounting

Snaps onto a magnetic mount for steel, or a screw-fix plate for everything else. One of the two is required — pick it when you order.

🛡

IP67 Sealed Case

Dust-tight and rated for 30 minutes at one metre of immersion, and rated from −20 °C to +80 °C.

🏃

Knows When It Moves

A built-in 3-axis accelerometer wakes the tracker on motion, so a parked asset stays asleep and a moving one reports.

🔔

Tells You Before It Goes Quiet

Low-battery alerts arrive in iMatrix Cloud ahead of time, so a pack swap is a planned visit and not a search.

Two battery sizes, one tracker. The photo shows the FC-111; the FC-113 case is 18 mm taller. The FC-113 and the FC-111 share the same electronics, footprint, mounts, and plans. The only differences are pack capacity and case height — choose by how long the asset sits between visits.

Order the mount with the tracker.

The FC-113 snaps onto a mount rather than bolting down directly, so every unit needs one of the two mounts below.

Magnetic Mount

Snap-on mount with two magnets for steel surfaces, and screw holes as a backup. Fits FC-111 and FC-113.

$79.00 hardware. Two plan tiers. No contract.

The unit is yours outright — no loaner program, no three-year term, no early-termination clause. Contact us for volume pricing. Both tiers include iMatrix Cloud, the EdgeUplink eSIM, and US-based support.

Know where it is, once a day

  • One scheduled GPS check-in every 24 hours
  • Deep sleep between check-ins — longest battery life
  • Lowest-cost tracking tier
  • Daily location history and inventory map
  • iMatrix Cloud dashboard
  • Connectivity: Zone 2 (North America) included

Know the moment it moves

  • Programmable reporting — set it in the iMatrix Cloud portal
  • Motion-triggered: trip start, movement, and stop
  • Geofence and movement alerts
  • Full location history and event timeline
  • Connectivity: Zone 2 (North America) included
  • Everything in Locate
How the plan changes the battery math. Locate wakes the tracker once a day, which is the gentlest life a primary pack can have. Track reports on motion, so an asset that moves every day spends its pack sooner than one that moves once a month. Size the expectation to how the asset actually works. Month to month on both tiers — cancel any time, and the hardware stays yours.
Connectivity. Every plan includes the iMatrix EdgeUplink eSIM. It is not tied to one carrier — it selects the best available cellular network per country. Zone 2 (North America) is included. The FC-113 is a North America release today; other regions are not offered. Data reports to iMatrix Cloud, where the FC-113 sits alongside your vehicles and gateways on one map, under one login.

FC-113 questions.

How is the FC-113 powered?

By a field-replaceable 19 Ah primary lithium pack. It is not rechargeable: when the pack is spent you fit a new one (FC-113-BAT-19, $23.95) and redeploy the same tracker.

Does the FC-113 need a mount?

Yes. The FC-113 snaps onto a mount, so each unit needs either the magnetic mount (FC-111-MNT-MAG, $14.95) or the screw-fix mounting plate (FC-111-MNT-PLT, $4.95).

What is the difference between the FC-113 and the FC-111?

Battery capacity and case height. The FC-113 has a 19 Ah pack and is 43.5 mm tall; the FC-111 has an 8 Ah pack and is 25.5 mm tall. Electronics, footprint, mounts, and plans are the same.

How much does the FC-113 cost?

$79.00 for the hardware, plus a plan: Locate at $7.99 per month or Track at $11.99 per month. There is no contract.

Where can the FC-113 be used?

The FC-113 is a North America release. Every plan includes the iMatrix EdgeUplink eSIM with Zone 2 (North America) connectivity.

Is there a contract?

No. You own the hardware outright and plans run month to month. Cancel any time.
