Enhancing Quality Assurance with NIST-Certified Sensors

For pharmaceuticals, food & beverage manufacturing, and biotechnology, precise monitoring of temperature and humidity is critical for safety and compliance. iMatrix addresses these needs with NIST-certified sensors across the Neo family — plus recertification services for the life of the device.

What is NIST Traceable Certification?

NIST Traceable Certification demonstrates the accuracy and reliability of measurement tools. iMatrix wireless sensors are certified to comply with standards from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ensuring their calibration is traceable to the International System of Units (SI).

We achieve this by partnering with Cal-Tek Company, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration lab, and maintaining compliance with ISO 9000 quality standards. Every NIST-variant sensor ships with a signed calibration certificate, archived in iMatrix Cloud for the life of the device.

Sample only. Serial number, dates, customer and signatures are placeholders.

What the certificate records

  • ✓ Serial and certificate numbers
  • ✓ Unit model and calibration procedure
  • ✓ Reference standards used, each with its own calibration and due dates
  • ✓ Calibration date and due date
  • ✓ Temperature and humidity in the lab at the time of calibration
  • ✓ As-found and as-left readings at each test point, with tolerance and pass/fail
  • ✓ Technician ID, inspection stamp and authorized signature

Our accredited calibration partner

Cal-Tek Company is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by A2LA (certificate 7440.01). A2LA is a signatory of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) multilateral recognition arrangements, so the accreditation is internationally recognized.

Rigorous testing by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab.

Multi-point verification across the operating range — not a single midpoint check. Each sensor is individually tested and certified before it ships.

Signed Certificate

Comprehensive documentation archived in iMatrix Cloud — accessible for audits.

Annual recertification takes about 2 weeks round-trip. Ship your Neo sensors back and they return recalibrated by Cal-Tek Company, with a fresh signed certificate archived to your cloud account. Contact sales for pricing, including volume pricing and staggered scheduling for bulk orders. Full recertification details →
