The 10-year figure is measured at one scheduled report per day in deep sleep with solar charging under optimal conditions — that duty cycle is exactly what the Locate plan does. Run motion-triggered reporting and the panel still keeps the cell charged; you trade reserve margin, not field life. Mount horizontally with the panel to the sky and clear of metal overhangs, and USB-C is there to top the cell up before deployment or after a long shaded spell.

The FC-101S-PRO tracks buses, trucks, vans, trailers, containers, gensets, and yard equipment with nothing to wire on any of them. It fixes position on five GNSS constellations and falls back to Wi-Fi scanning when the asset rolls into a warehouse. BLE 5.4 picks up nearby sensors, and a 6-axis motion sensor and light-based tamper detector catch anything that moves the box or opens it.

The FC-101S-PRO carries a BLE 5.4 radio, so it does double duty as the gateway for iMatrix Neo cold-chain and environmental sensors. Put Neo sensors in the trailer, container, or crate; the tracker scans them, and their readings ride out in the same record as the position fix. Nothing to wire, no separate gateway to power on the asset, and nothing to reconcile afterward.

Connectivity. Every plan includes the iMatrix EdgeUplink eSIM. It is not tied to one carrier — it selects the best available network per country, so an asset crosses a border without a SIM swap. Zone 1 (Europe) and Zone 2 (North America and more) are included by default. Zones 3, 4, 5 and Verizon USA are available on request.
