The FC-103 tracks buses, trucks, vans, and service vehicles you would rather not wire — and the assets that have no power at all: dry vans and flatbeds parked in the yard, containers and chassis, light towers, portable generators, compactors, and equipment moving between job sites. There is no panel to aim and no vehicle harness to tap.
A 5.9 Ah rechargeable cell delivers up to four years at one report per day in deep sleep. Power-saving and PSM modes hold sleep draw under 55 µA, and the device raises its own battery-life alerts before it goes quiet.
Concurrent multi-constellation GNSS — GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS — with WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS and GAGAN correction, to ±1.5 m CEP(50).
BLE 5.3 gateway. The FC-103 sits on an unpowered asset and collects from nearby Bluetooth sensors, so one self-powered hub covers a whole trailer or container.
A built-in 6-axis accelerometer detects motion and collision. Tamper detection and a light sensor catch the case being opened or a door being breached.
Movement, trip start and stop, geofence, impact, tamper, and low battery — configurable per asset in the iMatrix Cloud portal.
Dust-tight and rated for 30 minutes at one metre of immersion. Four corner holes in a reinforced flange bolt it to a trailer frame, container rail, or equipment panel.
An external power connector keeps the cell topped up wherever power is available, so the same unit works on both powered and unpowered assets.
Firmware ships over the air. No truck roll, no yard visit, no downtime.

The FC-103 is a BLE 5.3 gateway, so it does double duty as the collector for iMatrix Neo cold-chain and environmental sensors. Put Neo sensors where the reading matters — inside the trailer, the container, the reefer box — and the FC-103 scans them and reports their readings in the same record as the position fix. It carries its own cell, so one self-powered hub covers a whole trailer with nothing wired to it and no second gateway to keep alive.
Temperature, humidity, and door or contact state, read from sensors placed where the load actually sits rather than wherever the tracker happens to be bolted.
The FC-103 is rated 14 °F to 140 °F. Bolt it to the trailer nose or frame and let the Neo sensors ride inside the chilled load — they take the cold, the tracker takes the weather.
