Per-jurisdiction mileage

FC-501 reports GNSS positions every check-in. Cloud snaps each segment to a US state, Canadian province, or Mexican estado — taxable miles, non-taxable miles, and off-highway miles separated.

CAN-derived fuel

Total gallons consumed read from J1939 SPN 250 (engine fuel total). No reliance on receipts the driver may have lost; the engine itself is the witness.

One click pulls the quarter's miles and gallons by jurisdiction, formatted for IFTA-1A and the major filing services. CSV, PDF, or direct integration.

FC-501 carries the load. NEO-1 and Sentry-1 add the audit context.

IFTA filing is GPS + fuel. But when an auditor asks "where was this load between Reno and Salt Lake City?" the cargo conditions and door events are the audit trail that backs the mileage claim.

1 · Capture continuously

FC-501 reports GNSS, fuel total, and odometer on a configurable cadence. The default is 30 seconds at highway speed, longer when stationary.

2 · Snap to jurisdictions

iMatrix Cloud snaps each segment to its US state, Canadian province, or Mexican state boundary. Off-highway miles (yards, customer sites) excluded automatically.

3 · Reconcile with fuel

Fuel total at each state-line crossing is differenced. Result: gallons consumed in each jurisdiction, with no reliance on driver fuel-receipt entry.

4 · Quarter-end export

End of the quarter, click "IFTA Export." Pull a per-vehicle, per-jurisdiction roll-up in IFTA-1A format. Hand to the filing service or upload directly.
