Adding a sensor to iMatrix Account

To add a sensor from the mobile app:

  1. Open your iMatrix application
  2. Click the plus sign in the upper right corner
  3. A screen will open allowing you to choose a method to add a sensor

Choose your method:

QR code:

  1. Choose the QR code method
  2. Find the QR printed on the back of your device
  3. Allow camera access if you haven’t already
  4. Center camera view on the QR code (line up the code in the square shown on your screen)
  5. The application will take a few moments to add your sensor, wait for the process to finish
  6. Confirm your new sensor
  7. Customize your sensor profile by adding a name to identify your sensor (i.e. greenhouse 1), and adding an image or description to help you keep sensors distinguished from one another

SN (Serial number)

  1. Select the option to add a sensor by serial number (the 2nd option shown, labeled ‘Sensor’)
  2. Find the serial number on the sticker on the back of your device (near the QR code and MAC address)
  3. Enter the serial number exactly as shown on your device
  4. Allow the application a few moments to register your device
  5. Confirm the addition and continue to customize your sensor profile
  6. If using multiple sensors, add a name to identify your newly added device and add a description or photograph for easy identification
